The local workforce is the backbone of the community’s prosperity. Many hardworking employees find themselves living paycheck to paycheck. Housing costs in our region continue to outpace income growth.

HOWL INITIATIVE

Housing Solutions is taking a bold step forward with a new initiative. Housing Our Workforce Locally (HOWL) aims to forge strong financial partnerships with local employers and businesses to address housing and financial instability of the local workforce.

HOWL will provide:

  • Emergency Financial Assistance
  • Financial and Budgeting Counseling
  • Connections to Local Resources
    (affordable housing, health and wellness care, daycare options, and educational opportunities)

Community Impact

HOWL is not just offering a band-aid solution. HOWL will invest in the long-term success of the local workforce and by extension, the entire community.  Employees rely on the stability of teachers, daycare providers, healthcare providers,and many other sectors of the local economy.
