MUSIC AT HOME – A House Concert Benefit for Housing Solutions
Susan Banes, HSSW’s new Finance Director, will be hosting a concert at her home on Friday, August 12th. This is a benefit event for Housing Solutions, so tell your friends and plan on sharing a great evening of music and dancing under the San Juan stars!
Music will be provided by The Key Ingredients of African Soul, a band well-loved for their upbeat and uplifting music. They hail from Susan’s former hometown, Tucson, Arizona, and they’re passing through Durango on a mini-Four Corners Tour. Their music is rooted in Afro-pop and blends traditional and modern sounds from Zimbabwe, Mali, West and South Africa, with styles ranging from Shona to Soukous to Reggae. Very danceable, definitely enjoyable!
Suggested donation: $15 per person/$25 per family
Space is limited; Reservations Requested; Directions to Susan’s home will be provided when you RSVP
